Reflective Tape — Phase Reference for Balanset Tachometer

Self-adhesive retroreflective tape used as a phase reference mark for the Balanset laser tachometer. Apply a 1–2 cm strip to the rotor shaft — the laser sensor detects it once per revolution to determine RPM and phase angle.

Usage

Take a strip from the bag (trim it to 1–2 cm if needed) and apply it to a clean, smooth section of the shaft. The tape should be clearly visible to the laser sensor and not obscured by machine guards or adjacent components. Replace the tape if it becomes dirty, worn, or loses adhesion.

Included with Full Kit

The tape ships as pre-cut strips (1 m total) in a small bag — not as a roll. One bag is included in the standard Balanset-1A kit; this listing is for purchasing additional tape as a consumable.
