How It Works

How Field Balancing Works

Two-plane dynamic balancing directly on the machine, at PTO working speed. A typical mulcher takes about 40 minutes.

    Mount the sensors

    Two vibration sensors go on the rotor bearing housings with magnetic mounts. The laser tachometer points at a strip of reflective tape on the shaft.

  2. 02

    Measure the initial vibration

    Run the rotor at working RPM. The software records vibration level and phase in both planes — this is your baseline.

  3. 03

    Trial weight run

    Attach a known trial weight, measure again. The software computes the exact correction mass and angle for each plane.

  4. 04

    Correct and verify

    Fix the correction weights, run once more. Vibration drops to norm — the software shows the residual imbalance in numbers.
